	Afterschool Program
	The Lesley Ellis Afterschool Program provides a comfortable social setting for children in a mixed-age environment. Activities are carried out at an unhurried pace that creates a sense of security, promotes positive self-esteem and provides an opportunity for exploration. Our Afterschool Program also allows children to build upon their daily learning through support in academics, study time and links to families and the community. The Afterschool Program begins at 3:00 p.m. and ends at 5:30 p.m. Afternoon snacks are provided for all the children enrolled in the Afterschool Program. Teachers in the Afterschool Program are always available in the afternoon to discuss concerns with parents/guardians. There are two Afterschool Program pot-luck dinners held during each school year. These are wonderful opportunities for families to connect with each other as well as with the teachers in a relaxed environment.
