Financial Assistance at Lesley Ellis School

Lesley Ellis School strives to provide high-quality education that is affordable for all students. Recognizing that the cost of Lesley Ellis may exceed the financial capabilities of some families, a financial assistance fund is available each year. Lesley Ellis has a commitment to continue financial assistance for returning students whose families remain within the eligibility guidelines. 

Lesley Ellis is a member of the School and Student Service for Financial Aid (SSS), an organization that assists schools in making equitable awards to families who demonstrate financial need. The amount of a financial assistance award is based on a family’s need as determined, in large part, by SSS, and on the availability of funds at Lesley Ellis School. The Financial Aid Committee reviews all requests and supporting documentation. Families who have submitted all forms by February 15 will be notified in mid-March.

Financial Assistance Timeline

November 1:
  • Parents’ Financial Statement (PFS) is available online through School and Student Services (SSS) at Create your PFS online account or login as a returning family.
By January 31: 
  • Parents’ Financial Statement (PFS) submitted to School and Student Service (SSS). There is a processing fee of $41.00. Fee waivers are available to families who fall within income guidelines.
By February 15:
  • All tax documents uploaded or sent by mail to School and Student Services (SSS): 2013 1040, 1040A or 1040EZ, 2013 W2 forms, and Schedule C, 1099 form, and SSS Business/Farm Statement if applicable.
March 10:
  • Financial Assistance award notifications are mailed.
