How to Apply
Applying to Lesley Ellis School is a simple and pleasant process. The basic steps are outlined below. You can also download an Admission Checklist under Resources on the right.
Visit Our School
The first step in applying to Lesley Ellis School is to set up a school visit. Tours are available year round. There are limited openings available in some of our classrooms.

Submit an Application
Submit your application along with a non-refundable $40 application fee. The Application is available for download under Resources on the right.
Submit AISNE Form and Progress Reports
If your child presently attends school or daycare, please ask a current teacher to complete an AISNE Evaluation Form available for download under Resources, right. Please have it sent to us along with a copy of your child's last two progress reports.
Independent School Entrance Exam (ISEE) Applicants entering grades five through eight are asked to take the ISEE exam as this provides valuable information for our admission committee. Alternative standardized tests may be considered. Please contact the Admission Office for further information.
Schedule a Visit for Your Child
Preschool, Prekindergarten, Transitional Kindergarten and Kindergarten applicants are invited to a small playgroup session. Grade 1-4 applicants are invited to spend a morning in one of our classrooms. Middle School applicants spend a full day in the classroom. These visits provide a relaxed and enjoyable time for your child to experience what it's like to be a Lesley Ellis student.
Attend Our 2015 Open House Events
Join us for our various Open House events to explore classrooms, meet our teachers and administrators, and chat with some of our current parents.

Early Childhood, Elementary & Middle School Programs (Preschool – Grade 8).
Thursday, November 6, 2015 7 p.m.
Middle School Program only (Grades 5-8).
If you are applying for financial assistance, a Parents’ Financial Statement must be completed online and submitted to School and Student Services by January 31. For more information on financial assistance, please visit our Tuition & Financial Aid page.
